 别出心裁的惩罚 |

在德国不来梅有这样一个“习俗”：假如你年满30岁时仍未婚，那么你必须到不来梅大教堂前劳动一次——男性打扫大教堂的台阶，女性擦洗酒桶开关。
单身一人的斯特凡刚过罢30岁生日，朋友们便通知他某月某日某时到大教堂前劳动。当然事先是和他商量过的，并已到警察局申报过。
到了预定的这一天，斯特凡身穿黑色燕尾服，戴一顶高顶礼帽，打扮得活像上个世纪的绅士（每年到教堂来劳动的人都必须如此）。在朋友们的陪伴下来到大教堂前。
大教堂前的阶梯总是一尘不染，打什么呢？不要紧，朋友们自有办法——只见有人从汽车里拖出几个大袋子，把里而的酒瓶盖哗啦一声全撒在大教堂前的台阶上。
斯特凡的任务就是把这些瓶盖全部扫在一起。朋友们则在一边喝着饮料观阵，还有一架老式风琴演奏着轻松欢快的民族音乐为他伴奏。
眼看斯特凡就要把瓶盖全部扫在一起了，他的朋友们又稀里哗啦把刚扫到一起的瓶盖撒得到处都是，斯特凡只好重新开始，并无怨言。
我问他的朋友，他要扫到何时和算完事？他们说直到一位姑娘来吻他，并且必需是一位素不相识的少女。
我不由得为他担起心来。
过了一会儿，有母女两骑车经过。女儿好奇地问母亲他们在干什么。母亲低声向女儿解释了一番...
